MoTwitAir is not under active deveopment

MoTwitAir is a desktop client for the Twitter web service. MoTwitAir relies on the Adobe Air Runtime.

Features of MoTwitAir include:

• Auto Refresh of Timeline
• Viewing of your Timeline with Friends
• Viewing of Twitter public timeline
• Links for reply and direct messaging
• Automatic linking of @username and web links

Project Status

As of March 1 2008, I have no plans to update MoTwitAir any further. The primary impetuous for creating the project was 2 fold. At the release of Adobe AIR Beta 3 none of the Twitter AIR clients had been updated. The second reason for the projects creation is that I was unable to find an open source Flex based AIR Twitter client to contribute to. As such MoTwitAir was born. However all of the many MANY Twitter AIR clients have been updated to run well on version 1.0 of AIR. And although I have found no other Open Source Twitter clients that are based on Flex, the source for this project will remain open in case anyone wants to pick up the torch.

Version 0.5 – Released 12/20/07
Removed the Yahoo Skin because it was causing resizing on mouse over of elements. Added in the FamFam icons to help slim down the display. Added a preference to the setup screen to set the duration of the auto-refresh. Added shift+enter to submit a Twit with only the keyboard. Also added control+r to automatically reply to the top twit in the list.

Version 0.4 – Released 12/18/07
Added links for reply and direct messaging of users. Added auto linking to twitter usernames and web links. updated formating of Twits
