Really I think that if you are a Designer you can probably do most of these things on your own. But as a Web Developer I have close to no design skill or talent with design tools. So I need tools like these to help get my job done. Check out the post or just check out these couple that I like and use personally.

AIR Icon Generator
Sometimes you just need a quick icon for that AIR application you are building. This may not make it to your final release but they are great for helping you not have the default icon.

Shrink O’ Matic
Opening up Photoshop just to resize some images is a pain in the butt. This is a fun little app that lets you drag and drop resize your images.

Pixus
When a designer says I want you to move that X pixels down, sometimes you need to be able to measure things on the screen. Pixus is great for doing that and has a fun UI with a lightbox style mode.
