Reasons Why I chose Typo
Over on Wood for the Trees I found an article that backs up my choice for using Typo as my new blog platform. Although Matthew doesnt really get into the hard core parts of why to use Typo, he covers why not to use WordPress which I think is almost as important when considering alternatives.
Plus, this post is evidence of one of the reasons I switched blog engines. I never could get flock to work with BlogCFC so the “blog this” feature in flock, which I love, never did me any good.
Blogged with Flock

That’s odd that Flock didn’t work, as I know I tested with it and it did. Were you using the latest rev of BlogCFC? I’m not trying to get you back or anything, but I’m just curious.
Come on Ray I know you want me back :) To be honest I am not sure what version I was running. It was a couple updates after the official xmlrpc stuff had been added. But i remembered trying with Flock, and then ecto (which just dies all the time) and one other quanama or something like that.
I am just having fun playing with something new. Perhaps I will jump blogs again in a few months. I can hear mephisto calling. Who knows.
