Disappointed in the Apple WWDC Keynote
I was really hoping for some new news today. With the exception of telling us people are making games, the desktop has a new GUI, and you can make AJAX apps for the iPhone I dont think there was anything new.
Apple has set the bar very high for its keynotes and to day was not up to par. Of course my analysis is only from the live blogging of the event, but I feel like it really lacked that apple fanfare feeling.
I guess we did just hear about new mac book pro’s and updates to the appleTV, but I guess I just wanted more. Oh, well. Only 4 more months of waiting for leapord. I guess thats good, right?

I was hoping for more about the Apple TV as well. Like WHEN are they planning on updating that box next to my TV? When will they offer different ways to view the photo screensavers?
The gaming portion was interesting, but I haven’t used my computer to play games in quite a while now.
I almost fell out of my chair when I heard about Safari on Windows. I was hoping that they’d say that they improved Safari’s JS support on Mac instead so that we don’t have to deal with it being the excluded browser for WSIWYG editors, etc.
