Its been a great week on the labs site. Today I visited the site and this was the picture I was presented with.

So what do I like about this picture? Well right along side Adobe’s premier *NEW* technologies is our old friend ColdFusion. The ColdFusion 8 beta is getting primary position with the other new hot technologies. Another thing is the update to the Apollo toolkit including a name change. We will forever refer to Apollo as the (AIR). Included in this update are new features including better html ajax support, built in database functionality via SQLite, and support for using pdf’s in your applications. Lastly today we also see the first public viewing of through which we gain the support to build AIR applications, as well as many functionality enhancements to the Flex Builder IDE including refactoring!

All this coupled Apple’s WWDC keynote coming up in just another hour I really feel like a kid on christmas morning. Look at all the new toys! But its not christmas, its june. So I will go ahead and take credit for this because my birthday is next week. So thanks Adobe! for getting all this great software out into my hands in time for my birthday. Its a wonderful gift :)
