Say No To AIT.com hosting
I am having one hell of a morning. I need to get away from AIT.com dedicated hosting as quick as possible. I am looking at Cari.net . All there servers run in 64bit mode, which I read the technotes and CF doesnt really like that much. I know I can run a 32bit jvm and have a chance. I was just curious if anyone out there is actually doing that.
* Is anyone using cari.net? Good News? Bad News?
* Anyone running Centos x86_64 with ColdFusion 7?
Please let me know about any comments you may have on this.

Ok, so they can run the processor in 32 bit mode and cf will work fine. So now I am just looking for anyone that can give them a recommendation.
I can’t much speak for Cari.net. Viviotech.net has great packages and excellent support.
I’m sorry to hear that you’re working with AIT… I’ve had one heck of a time working with them as well. Their support time on most issues has been at least a week. :-( Thankfully, I just got my last service transferred over to someone else.
Have you looked into hostmysite.com? I was much happier with their support, but I’m not able to answer the technical questions you posed.
I second hostmysite, though I’ve never done dedicated hosting with them.
Well I’ll second Viviotech then. I have a VPS and they also offer dedicated.
