I love keeping an eye on what’s going on in our community. I follow MXNA and Fullasagoog. I work hard to make sure I follow the trends that people are writing about and keeping myself informed. But its hard. You know its hard. There are lots of brilliant folks out there writing great info and its a real effort to keep track of what I have read and not read. But then you compound that with the fact that in the morning I read the news on my laptop. And throughout the day I read it on my desktop at work. And in the evening I am on the desktop at home. RSS readers help out with this, but I still have to sort out what I have read and not read between the different computers.

Well my problems with this are gone. Enter Google Reader. This is another fabulous app from the guys over at Google. Its an online RSS reader that is very nice and because its online all my computers are always in sync.

Combine that with Google Reader Notifier for the mac and I am set. My desktop tells me when new posts are made, and when I mark them read, they are read on all my computers.

With this kind of technology its hard to imagine folks not reading all the blogs :) Check them out, I doubt you’ll regret it.
