Model-Glue From the mouth of the man!
Last night the Portland ColdFusion User Group had the opportunity to be joined (via breeze) my Joe Rinehart. Joe took some time to present on us on the framework he created called Model-Glue.
I can’t speak highly enough of this presentation! Joe did an amazing job of layout out some of the challenges presented to us developers in our work, and how we can use Model-Glue (and other frameworks) to over come them.
And in a suprise for the whole group, the second half of the presentation was on Model-Glue 2.0 - Unity. Joe has done some amazing work in helping developers do their job better and faster. It was a great presentation and I am better for having watched it.
What’s That? You want to be better for having watched it? Oh, well…. um… Ok, i guess. Luckily for you I recorded it :) Check it out here:

Thank you sooo much Joe! You Rock.

I was there (well, there for the "live" breeze). I heard it straight from the source, and I can vouch for the impressiveness (if wasn’t a word before, it is now) of what Joe has done.
You rock man! Keep up the good work.
Right after Joe stops sharing his video, the flash player crashes and closes down the browser window both on IE and Firefox. Are you seeing the same thing or is it my PC?
A quick check at adobe.com says that I have version 8,0,22,0 installed. I’ll update to 8,0,24,0 and check once again.
That is soo bizarre. I can confirm that it does happen on the pc. However it play great on my mac.
I wonder if you can move the slider past that point and not have it crash?
Simeon, weird. I updated to flash player 8,0,24,0 and same thing. I ended up moving the slider past that point and things are going just fine.
You are correct as far as the mac, the presentation worked as expected on my powerbook.
