Baby Bateman 1.0 Enters Alpha
I try pretty hard to keep my blog tech related. I often dont post things that I want to because I am honored to be aggreagated on several tech related site. But this is news I want to share with all my friends.
My wife Carrie and I are proud to annouce that we are expecting a new addition to our family! We had our first appointment yesterday with the doctors and we got to see our new baby and its darling little heartbeat. We will be 10 weeks tomorrow and looking at a December 18 birth.
Carrie has a post with pictures and stuff if you are interested. I’ll not drone on here, but I really wanted to share with all of you my happiness. Many of you know that Carrie and I had been trying and ( ironically enough) in our ninth month we hit the big prize.

Congratulations to you both! I know how excited you both must feel right now. You’re going to here everyone tell you that it will change your life, but you can’t possibly grasp the magnitude of the change. I ‘thought’ I was prepared, but I wasn’t. It’s much more wonderful than I ever could have imagined.
